April 2019: Women In Music + Studios 301 – The Recording Process

For the first Women in Music Sydney event of 2019, we are teaming up with the Studios 301 for an in-depth look at the recording process.
How are the soundtracks of our lives recorded? At this special event – located at Australia’s largest music recording, mixing & mastering studio – we will hear studio stories, see demonstrations and gain advice from an experienced panel on recording and its importance.
We will have an amazing panel with the music industry’s leaders in recording, mixing and mastering. Heading the panel will be Shelley Bishop (Studios 301), with panellists Antonia Gauci (Studios 301), Virginia Read (ABC Classics), Tahlia-Rose Coleman (Studios 301), Christina Thiers (Warner Music Australia) and Amanda Brown (inSync Music).
We will also be running a raffle for a chance to win fantastic prizes, with all proceeds going to Mudgin-Gal – a service run by Aboriginal women, for Aboriginal women. Mudgin-Gal means ‘women’s place’ and offers a safe haven and active support for women, girls and their young families.
As always, there will be fantastic networking opportunities for all attendees! The event is at Studios 301 and doors are open at 6pm, Wednesday 10th April 2019.
